Apply now for the Summer Research/Clinical Immersion (SRI) program for an 8-week, in-person research and clinical experience at the University of Pittsburgh!

SRI 2026 will be June 1st through July 24th, 2026.

Working with a researcher/faculty member in the Department on a mentored research project
Lectures and Journal Club
Emergency Medicine workshops
Clinical shadowing

*Dates may be flexible for those with conflicting academic year start dates

Limited funding is available to support students, particularly those who have had material disadvantage and/or a long path travelled to their present positions and future health care goals. Funding for this program is supported by the NIH and local foundation grants.
