Position Summary
The Senior Manager, Reporting & Analytics leads an agile Scrum team to deliver scalable reporting solutions and actionable insights. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution to align business intelligence and analytics capabilities with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional agile team of developers and QA analysts.
- Define product vision and roadmap for reporting and analytics platforms.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize backlog, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Ensure data integrity, governance, and best practices in modeling, visualization, and performance optimization.
- Track KPIs and delivery metrics to drive continuous improvement in quality and velocity.
- Promote innovation through modern BI tools, cloud technologies, and automation.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years in data engineering, analytics, BI, or reporting.
- 5+ years in leadership managing agile teams (Scrum/SAFe).
- Strong SQL and data modeling skills for relational and cloud databases.
- Experience with ETL, data warehousing, and big data technologies.
- Proficiency in GCP and modern data architectures.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Cloud data engineering/architecture certifications.
- Experience mentoring teams and fostering continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
Education
Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or related field.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$130,295.00 - $260,590.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
