Description
We're a leading SW Florida General Ophthalmology practice with offices through Lee and Collier counties and our own ASC facilities in both counties. Private practice with over 40 years in the area is looking to expand the offering to include a Medical and Surgical Retina specialist. With a vast network of Optometrists and PCP providers, the demand for Retina has grown. We are looking for an entrepreneurial Provider that wants an opportunity to help build a practice and then separate from the General Ophthalmology practice as an equity partner in your own practice. We are offering a generous salary and full benefits as you build the practice as well as production bonus. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial physician to establish and expand a retina service line within a supportive and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will be committed to clinical excellence, patient-centered care, and long-term practice development.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage a full spectrum of vitreoretinal diseases, including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, and vascular disorders
- Perform in-office procedures such as intravitreal injections, laser treatments, and minor surgical interventions
- Perform vitreoretinal surgeries including vitrectomy, scleral buckle, and complex retinal detachment repairs
- Build and grow a retina referral network with optometrists and general ophthalmologists
- Collaborate with internal providers to co-manage patients and expand integrated care pathways
- Participate in practice development, strategic planning, and service line growth
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with regulatory standards
