Description
The Division of Ophthalmology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians (HMFP) seeks to recruit a full-time comprehensive ophthalmologist. This position will include patient care at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and offsite locations. Our state-of-the-art ambulatory operating rooms currently accommodate the entire range of eye surgeries, including cornea, glaucoma and complex anterior segment procedures. The successful candidate for this position will be eligible for Harvard Medical School appointment as Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor commensurate with experience, training and achievements in addition to teaching activities.
Our division is one of the affiliates of the Harvard Ophthalmology residency program based at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and our faculty work closely with trainees, including residents and fellows. This position is ideal for candidates who are passionate about providing the best care possible to their patients, enjoy teaching residents and fellows, and are interested in participating in clinical research projects within an exciting and vibrant academic environment rich in opportunities for collaboration.
