Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Title: Clinical Research CoordinatorJob DescriptionThe Clinical Research Coordinator will work directly with patients during visits, collaborating with research nurses as needed. Support will be provided by data and regulatory teams, requiring only a basic understanding of those functions. The position involves working within a disease-specific team, potentially the Neuro Oncology team, participating in recruitment activities, such as referrals, tumor board discussions, and new consults. Responsibilities include conducting chart reviews and supporting multiple studies without leading or owning any single study.
Responsibilities- Conduct patient visits and work directly with research nurses.
- Participate in patient recruitment and inclusion/exclusion processes.
- Perform chart reviews.
- Support multiple studies within the team.
- Clinical research experience, with at least one year of patient-facing experience.
- Patient recruitment and consent processes.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Clinical research certification.
- Phase 1 clinical trials experience.
- Experience in oncology is preferred.
- Clinical research certification is a plus.
The work schedule will start between 7:00-9:00 am, with 8-hour shifts. Work is onsite at The Henry Ford Cancer Center every day for the first three months, with the option to work from home one day a week thereafter. The role offers opportunities to learn and grow, access to internal training, and potential for higher pay with SOCRA or ACRP certification. The new leadership is establishing structured onboarding, training, and development, providing defined roles and manageable workloads to allow specialization.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Detroit, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr.
