Description

Seattle, Washington - Seeking an ARNP/PA-C who provides evaluation and medical management of patients in the context of radiation related care.  They will assess and manage basic health needs of patients, address treatment toxicities, perform procedures, monitor for cancer progression or recurrence, and oncology consult with professional peers as needed. They work collaboratively with the treatment team to coordinate care of their patients. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs new patient consultations and follow-up appointments
• Evaluates and manages on-treatment and post-treatment side effects, as well as long-term surveillance
• Collaborates and consults with other disciplines and services to ensure safe, effective, and timely treatment as well as continuity of patient care
• Performs procedures according to licensure, credentialing, and scope of practice
• Participates in the conduct of clinical research
• Provides patient, caregiver, and peer education
• Communicates effectively with inpatient and outpatient teams

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner training program awarding a Master’s degree. Certified as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. 
• Proven excellence working in an interdisciplinary collaborative team environment
• Effective interpersonal skills, leadership skills, and clinical expertise in the care of oncology patients

Desirable Qualifications: 

• Clinical oncology or radiation oncology experience a plus
